No — quite the opposite. A quality winder rotates at the same gentle speed your wrist would naturally produce throughout the day. As long as the turns per day (TPD) and rotation direction are set correctly for your watch, there's no overwinding risk. Modern automatic movements have a slipping clutch that protects the mainspring from over-tensioning.

Will it fit my watch — I have a Rolex/Omega/larger sports watch ?
